Introduction
Rock wool board is made of natural rocks such as basalt and limestone. The rock melts in a cupola at a temperature exceeding 1450 ℃, and the melted lava is fibrous through a spinning machine. Inorganic fibers are bonded together using thermosetting resins to form the final product, which is cut into suitable sizes for easy operation and installation.
Feature
(1) Good insulation performance: Good insulation performance is the basic feature of rock wool products. At room temperature (approximately 25 ℃), their thermal conductivity typically ranges from 0.03 to 0.046 w/(m · k)
(2) Excellent fire resistance: Rock wool itself belongs to inorganic silicate fibers and is not flammable. It has A-level combustion performance and the highest fire resistance, and is classified as a non combustible substance.
(3) Excellent sound insulation performance: Rock wool products have excellent sound insulation and absorption performance. The sound absorption mechanism is that the product has a porous structure. When sound waves pass through, friction is generated due to the effect of flow resistance, so some of the sound energy is absorbed by the fibers, which hinders the propagation of sound waves.
